Time is flying! Coco is 6 weeks old.

There's no place like home...

Our friend Mario who hasn't seen his wife or children in 2 years left on Thursday to fly back home to Mexico for a long visit. As you can imagine he was so excited he could hardly stand it! He came over to say goodbye, we will miss him this winter but hope to see him in the spring.

It makes me think alot about how much we take for granted having our friends and family so close... I am very grateful and appreciate that so much, I can't imagine not seeing someone I love and care about for that long.

Road tripin to MoAb

We plan to try and travel just as much with Coco as we did without her. We have a couple bigger trips on the calendar before the end of the year so we thought now was just as good of a time as any to get on the road! Moab is also about the same distance from Park City as it is from Aspen so its the perfect spot to meet up with our friends Zach and Erin for the weekend. The weather ended up being really great in Moab considering it was snowing in Park City. Ben got a couple of bike rides in and we were able to hike the Negro Bill Canyon (one of our favorites). Great way to end the summer...

We have been waiting to meet Max for weeks. He took his time getting here as he was a week overdue, fashionably late! Born to our dear friends Mike and Trina. Congratulations! Coco has a new friend!

4 weeks later...

I honestly can't believe its been 4 weeks since Coco made her debut! She is such a joy to have around, even at 3:00 in the a.m. when she is making all sorts of noise I am so excited to hold her and see what funny faces she is making. Mommyville has been very interesting. I can say I have a whole new respect for parents on all sorts of levels. It is one of those things that you can never imagine until you do it....

Coco was treated to a Creer family baby shower a few days ago and she was SPOILED! We both had so much fun and she finally has a few pink things for her room & wardrobe. What a great family! Thanks so much...

Coming up for air...

Coco is now two weeks old. She had her doctors appointment on Friday and she is now 6lbs 12 oz and 20 inches long, she is definitely growing and changing every day. We are having so much fun with her. She is such a good girl and so sweet, we are so blessed to have her. Ben and I are adjusting pretty well I think, although I am getting very antsy to ride my bike, do yoga, go to the gym, anything at this point would be great since I have been stuck inside for the past two months! Our lives have changed and it is really amazing.
